Asclera is here for leg veins

We are very pleased to offer Asclera treatment for leg veins. I’ve had experience performing sclerotherapy for leg veins for over 10 years with polidocanol. Finally we have an FDA approved version. Asclera is a bit more expensive than I anticipated, but I will not be passing this on to the patients for now.

A lot of women put leg veins off thinking there is no hope. It is true that leg veins can recur and progress, particularly from birth control or hormone replacement therapy, as estrogen promotes vessel development. However, sclerotherapy can make a big difference in quality of life. I will never forget a patient who was so ashamed of her leg veins. I saw her a year later in my office and she was wearing short shorts and kitten heels!
